We had a fantastic week at this hotel! My older kids enjoyed the weekly yoga classes in the garden, and we indulged in some lovely local cuisine at the on-site restaurant. The beach vibes were incredible with sun beds available, making it easy to relax.

My wife says that the lift was unreliable at late hours.

the rooms certainly don’t reflect the photos, it was honestly quite sad, with a uncomfortable bed that I couldn’t even sleep on. expected some kind of gesture for my troubles, but nope, just apathy. I can’t believe they charge for beach towels, totally disgraceful. I almost wrote a glowing review, but I just couldn’t.

the dunas has a great rejuvenating atmosphere. i loved the relaxing spa treatments and the quiet pool area. it's just a short walk to the beach, which made it easy to enjoy the sun. the staff were particularly friendly and always ready to help.

This place was just a prime choice for a stopover in Santa Maria with high value for money. The staff quickly transferred us to a ground floor apartment when we mentioned our baby and pram. Be sure to book restaurant reservations early if you want to dine in them instead of the buffet.
